Bra Queen’s Comments-
This Elomi Sports bra is so super comfortable to wear, the lift and support is great. The material is so soft on the skin, if you're active through out the day you could easily wear this bra all day if you need the support.

Update on Bra Review- Freya Deco

I recently did a bra review on Freya Deco moulded plunge bra. Now because I am so dedicated about being honest with you I need to bring you this update.

I purchased my Freya Deco and I am still very fond of it, however I need to say this-

I wore my new plunge bra with a plunge top and well my GG Cup breasts slowly made their way into the middle. The shape and lift still looked good however they looked absolutely enormous, I kid you not.

So I will say to you I still recommend this bra however I wouldn't say it's an everyday bra unless you wear a singlet over the top to cover your girls, unless of course you want them out there. If you work at a desk or in an office then it would be fine. However if you are active then you may want to think twice about wearing the plunge bra with a plunge top.

I'm afraid I just shocked the world, with my my Um assets?

Bra Review D to GG Cup Freya Deco

Freya Deco

Cost- $94.95

Lift- 9/10

Separation- 10/10

Quality- 9/10

Shape- 9/10

Material- 9/10

Appearance-10/10

Over All- 9/10

Bra Queen's Comments- This is a moulded plunge bra and this is an area that Freya have yet to master, however I am delighted to say this bra rocks, I love it! It is super comfy, great shape and lift. I was incredibly delighted when I reviewed this bra. I love the round shape it gives, because they do give so much lift they do make your breasts look a little bigger but that's only because of the lift and shape they provide. They are a little small in the cup so don't be surprised if you have to go up a cup.
Available in Sizes 6 to 16 DD to GG Cups

You know this is available in oodles of places but if you want to see the Fitting Experts check out DeBras or Brava their girls are as passionate as I am about fitting.

I think I am going to buy one in black and one in nude, yeahh...

Bra Review- Bendon DimitySO D to J Cups

ROSE BEAT
Cost- $79.95
Lift- 4/10
Separation-7/10
Quality- 3/10
Shape- 1/10
Material- 2/10
Appearance-5/10

Over All- 2/10

Bra Queen's Comments- SO off I go again to Review Bendon's NEW D to J Cup range, after my last experience I wasn't to eager to re-live the experience however I went open to everything. Visually they don't look too bad, they are an extremely small cut so you'll have to go up a band size AND a cup size. There is no give in the material so comfort factor is zero. Because there is no give the straps really dig in which is very uncomfortable and the shape is absolutely terrible, the bra is too shallow therefore it squashes your breasts so they look wide and flat like a big fat donut. The quality of the material wasn't that great is was quite scratchy, I would not recommend this bra.

RIBBON THIEF
Cost- $79.95
Lift- 3/10
Separation-7/10
Quality- 5/10
Shape- 1/10
Material- 5/10
Appearance-6/10

Over All- 3/10

Bra Queen's Comments- The material was much better quality then Rose Beat (even if a little sports bra-ish so it was slightly more comfortable. The straps are slightly wider so more comfy. The shape is again terrible, shallow cups, the cups are cut too straight across so they do not flatter your body shape. When you're fuller cups you need softer edges because there is so much breast :) Although slightly better then the previous I still would not recommend it, for the price you can do much better.

These images are models that are a D Cups bare in mind they do go up to a J Cup.

Bra Review on Dalia Lingerie

Sophie
Cost- $90 to $100 (I will get an accurate RRP)
Lift- 9/10
Separation- 10/10
Quality- 10/10
Shape- 9/10
Material- 9/10
Appearance-10/10

Over All- 9.5/10

Bra Queen's Comments- Jiminy Cricket! I LOVE THIS BRA... Those words RARELY come out of my mouth. But everything about this Bra is divine, shape great, lift great, comfort awesome and it's HOT. There is quite a bit of stretch in the back so make sure it's a snug fit across the back and on the loosest hook. it brings your breasts forward so it's really slimming as well, you gotta love that :)

Dalia is a Polish Lingerie Company, not readily available in Australia just yet, however I will be working hard to get it out there for you guys because it is a great bra. They are more Bras in this collection that I can't wait to try, so as I get them I will let you know my thoughts. They are available at GoddessInc.com.au it's not on their site so you will have to contact them for more info!

Bra Review- Bras 'n' Things

BNT is one of Australia's and New Zealand's leading lingerie stores, so how does their lingerie fair up with the rest?

Every Lingerie company has two seasonal lines Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter then usually an on going line, their bread and butter lines you might call them.
Bras 'n' Things originally outsourced all of their Lingerie however over the years they slowly started to fade out there suppliers, opting to go off shore and create their own labels-

* Short Stories- A to D Cups and sleepwear.
* Truly Me- Fuller Cup Range, fuller cup being mostly E Cup some go up to F Cup.
* Wink- For teenagers, it's just like Bonds.
* Satin Indulgence- Sleepwear and your Boudoir Lingerie
* Ultimate Body- T-Shirt bras and Shapewear

Now I am noticing they are beginning to reintroduce some other labels again. Especially in their Fuller Cups they are stocking Triumph, Playtex, Berlei & Loveable. They also stock Playboy and Mossimo.

Now you go into these stores and there is just so much stock!
So I am NOT going to Review every single bra. What I am going to do is make it really simple for you. I may be generalising however you know me I am always honest and I know my bras! SO

Fashion Lines- The bras that only come out for the season.
Quality- 1/10
Material- 1/10
Shape- 1/10
Appearance- 6/10

Over All- 1/10
Bra Queen's Comments- Even if some of these bras look nice personally I wouldn't recommend them as the quality, shape and support is lacking. The price point is OK however I think you can find better. I find them very ill fitted.
Ask yourself this- If they can sell them at $10 at the end of the season and still make a profit, how much time and effort went into the structure and shape of the bra?

T-Shirts Bras- If you have full breasts, when I say full I mean how they were before you had kids. Then you'll find one to suit, however again the quality is sadly not great. Best seller is Milano- it will work for you or it won't.

Larger Cups- The only one I would recommend is the Riviera bra it is well made and provides a good shape. However it is a 3/4 cup so some of you will feel like you're popping out of it. It has quite a big lace so it may show through some clothes, however for the price it is quite good, IF the shape is right for you. It only goes up to an F Cup.

All the others are either-
* A bad shape
* Poor quality
* No lift
* Really ugly
* Or all of the above.

Water Bras and Cream Bras- I like their Mermaid Water Bra material is nice, good shape, your breasts do appear bigger.
Their Ultimate Body Water bra is also quite good however it really does depend on your shape. Bra 'n' Things bras are really hit and miss more then other companies I find.

Bra Review on Tango by Panache

Lift- 8/10
Separation- 8/10
Quality- 8/10
Shape- 8/10
Material- 8/10
Appearance-8/10

Over All- 8/10
Bra Queen's Comments- I really liked this bra, it's well made, strong and I really good shape. It does fit quite snug so if you don't mind that then you'll love this bra. It's a great t-shirt or everyday bra. Tango is a full cup bra, it is quite a big bra so you would have to select tops accordingly. But all in all I quite liked it.

If you would like to check out this bra you can do so at De Bras Tango is available in Black, White, Nude and seasonal fashion colors

Bra Review on Curvy Kate

Curvy Kate's Emily, Princess, Ella, Angel, Portia Curvy Kate's Soft Cup Bras
Cost- $94.95
Lift- 6/10
Separation- 8/10
Quality- 6/10
Shape- 4/10
Material- 4/10
Appearance-8/10

Over All- 5/10
Bra Queen's Comments- Firstly a BIG Congratulations to Curvy Kate winning our Best DD+ Bra award. They are really pretty bras. I was so so excited to review them, I could wait to get my hands on them!
Sadly I found the material a little scratchy, but that may soften with some fabric softer:)
The underwire on these bras stops short under your arm pits, I assume to cater for the women who don't like the feeling of it rubbing under their armpits? BUT it is there for a reason, it comes up higher for support and to distribute the weight of your breasts evenly. So in turn it causes the underwires to really dig into your chest, not just a little I'm talking serious digging in. It is really uncomfortable, I can see the underwires coming out of these bras very quickly.

BUT DON'T WRITE THEM OFF TOO QUICKLY!
They also have-

Showgirl by Curvy Kate's Tease Me and Thrill Me Curvy Kate's Semi Soft Cup Bras (They have a really soft, thin mold)
Cost- $99.95
Lift- 9/10
Separation- 9/10
Quality- 7/10
Shape- 8/10
Material- 7/10
Appearance-8/10

Over All- 8/10
Bra Queen's Comments- Showgirl by Curvy Kate, Thrill me and Tease me have a great shape, really comfortable and supportive. They look fantastic. I really like them and recommend them. They are a 3/4 cup or balcony cut bra therefore if you are super active during the day they may not be supportive enough and you may pop out of the top. However I could wear these all day with my 2 toddlers and still be supported and I'm pretty active. The underwires are exactly where they are suppose to be :)

#Semi Soft cup bras we are beginning to see much more of coming out of Europe and I am loving them they have the comfortable factor of a soft cup how they just mold to your natural shape and the benefits of a molded or preformed bra like providing shape.
# I love the fact that right now Curvy Kate is only available in Small Businesses who know their stuff like Debras. I hope for the small businesses they stay that way, however I have my doubts *wink* *wink*
If you are outside Australia then a highly recommend the awesome www.missfituk.com

Lift- 4/10
Separation- 6/10
Quality- 3/10
Shape- 2/10
Material- 3/10
Appearance-3/10

Over All- 2/10
Bra Queen's Comments-For a brand that is renowned for it's quality this bra is very flimsy the quality is terrible. It is quite a small make as well. The straps are far to thin for the quality of the bra so you have no support what so ever. Ridiculously over priced for the quality of this bra.

Bouquet
Cost- $129.95
Lift- 8/10
Separation- 8/10
Quality- 8/10
Shape- 8/10
Material- 8/10

Bra Queen's Comments- This bra is really pretty. It is well made and the quality is really good and it has a good shape. It does give your boobs a 50's look. So if you like your breasts out there then this bra is for you.

Bra Queen's Comments- This bra is really uncomfortable and it makes your breasts look pointy. The shape is terrible and the material is quite odd it would see through your clothes.

Jolie
Cost- $89.95
Lift- 5/10
Separation- 7/10
Quality- 8/10
Shape- 2/10
Material- 8/10
Appearance- 8/10

Bra Queen's Comments- I had high hopes for this bra! It is really pretty and it's great quality but the lift and shape are not good so therefore detracts from the prettiness this bra has on the hanger!

Pollyanna
Cost- $104.95
Lift- 8/10
Separation- 8/10
Quality- 8/10
Shape- 8/10
Material- 8/10
Appearance- 8/10

Bra Queen's Comments-This bra does make your breasts a little pointy however it is a well structured bra. The pattern is not to my taste but it is nice and some people would like it.

Retro Basic
Cost- $84.95
Lift- 7/10
Separation- 7/10
Quality- 6/10
Shape- 6/10
Material- 7/10

Bra Queen's Comments- I don't think they have the smooth or contoured cups right yet! The shape is wrong so therefore everything else goes out the window.

Separation- 8/10
Quality- 8/10
Shape- 6/10
Material- 8/10
Appearance- 8/10

Bra Queen's Comments- This bra looks great, it's pretty the material is good quality. But again the shape is wrong and if you lose me on the shape then you have lost me on the bra. It cuts across your cleavage too much.

Tasmin
Cost- $94.95

Quality- 8/10
Shape- 8/10

Bra Review- Masquerade

Pandora
Cost- $114.95
Lift- 8/10
Separation- 8/10
Quality- 9/10
Shape- 8/10
Material- 9/10
Appearance- 7/10

Over All- 8/10

Bra Queen's Comments- I loved the quality of this bra! It is made really well. The material is lovely, the pattern not to my liking but a lot of women would love it. The shape was really good it's slimming however because it quite low cut it creates a bit of a V shape breast. When you have a top over it you can't see it, it's only when you looking with just the bra on.
If you have toddlers or you are up and down or running around during the day you will pop out of it. However if you work in an office it will be fine to wear everyday. I really liked it but it's not perfect there is something that isn't quite right. It's not overly comfortable.

Shanghai
Cost- $109.95
Lift- 7/10
Separation- 7/10
Quality- 9/10
Shape- 4/10
Material- 9/10
Appearance- 7/10

Over All 5/10

Bra Queen's Comments- Masquerade's Bras are made beautifully however because the shape of this bra is so bad I would not recommend at all. You will spill out it, it's not supportive, it's not comfortable and you couldn't even wear it for it's prettiness because the shape is so bad it makes your breasts just look wrong.

If you would like to check out Masquerade you can do so at Brava

Quality- 9/10
Shape- 8/10
Material- 8/10
Appearance- 9/10

Over All- 9/10
Bra Queen’s Comments- I love Miss Mandalay's bra. The cut and the shape of her bra's is really good, Miss Mandalay make great quality bras, she really does take pride in her work. Very comfortable and very supportive you could easily wear her bra's all day and feel a bit sexy at the same time ;-) The price is unbelievably low considering it is of European design & quality.
I have been reviewing bras much more expensive and they are hideous!

Freya
Arabella
Cost- $99.95
Lift- 9/10
Separation- 9/10
Quality- 9/10
Shape- 8/10
Material- 8/10
Appearance- 9/10

Eleanor
Cost- $94.95
Lift- 9/10
Separation- 9/10
Quality- 9/10
Shape- 7/10
Material- 8/10
Appearance- 9/10

Over All- 8/10

Bra Queen's Comments- Freya I find are a bit hit or miss with their Bra's. Their soft cup bras tend to be good IF they are the same cut as Arabella or Eleanor. As a rule I would stick with their Balcony Bras and not their Plunge Bras.
Note- Eleanor on some bust shapes can be slightly ski-jumpy

Bra Queen’s Comments- I WAS so excited to check out this range I really thought Elle would nail it. WRONG! I can not tell you how disappointed I was. I was so disappointed I was angry! I have questions like-

•How did these bras EVER pass through their quality control? They mustn’t have one.
•They are $15 MORE expensive then the same bra in a smaller cup, disgusting!
•These bras in NO WAY support you, lift you let alone are comfortable! Same might look nice and be pretty colors HOWEVER once you put them on no matter how pretty the bra it WILL NOT counter act just how badly designed and poorly made these bras are. I KID YOU NOT! I wish I was.

These bras are so terrible and make you look so ridiculous I was literally laughing at how bad they are and then well I just felt sick!
Sick that so many people are going to buy these bras because they are made by “The Body” and spend $75 for the privilege BUT I say save your money you may as well be wearing nothing at least then you’ll be far more comfortable then wearing these hideous contraptions.

The ONLY thing I like about Elle MacPherson’s bras are the hooks they are sturdy and strong.

Would I recommend Elle MacPherson’s NEW D to G Cup Range? NOT ON YOUR LIFE!

BRA REVIEW -Elle Mac Pherson

Elle Macpherson, Artistry
Cost- $74.95
Lift- 4/10
Separation- 7/10
Quality- 6/10
Shape- 4/10
Material- 6/10
Appearance- 8/10

Bra Queen's Comments- If you like "Pretty" you'll like this bra. It is really pretty, the material isn't too bad it's a fine lace so it's quite comfy on the skin. What let this bra down (literally) was the lift or lack of it. Due to the lack of lift there was no shape. It's simple without lift there will be NO shape! Although it is pretty I think it is too expensive for the lack of support you will get from this bra. Sorry Elle, I love your maternity collection for smaller cups.

Stay tuned I will be Reviewing her NEW D to G Cup Collection this week! Fingers Crossed.

The Best Smooth Cup Bra?

I have currently been on an assignment for one of my readers.

This was my brief- I'm a 16E and I need a Smooth Bra to wear under a cream and black dress. With no requirements on straps or neckline so just a good shape, good lift and good support. She is going to a wedding so she'll be having a boogie and wouldn't want a Jennifer Hawkins moment!
Sounds easy right, WRONG!
I have looked, researched and tried over 20 bras!

From cheap ($20)to expensive ($130)there was just nothing! Tell me; Why is it that women with big boobs who need the support more then our smaller chested sisters don't have the most simple of bras?
OK let me rephrase that! It is available however some of them you may as well be wearing nothing because that is actually what it did. OR I had 4 boobs which of course I don't want. I can't handle the 2 I have so I don't need any more thank you!

The BEST one I found was my trusty friend Ultimo. Great lift, great support, so so comfortable and it's smooth. They are just celebrating their 10th birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

The white one would be the best suited however you may see it through the cream, maybe.

If so, go for the flesh color in the Plunge

Both at great value AU$69.95 at Alluring Lingerie

Cost- $89.95
Lift- 6/10
Separation- 6/10
Quality- 6/10
Shape- 4/10
Material- 7/10
Appearance- 8/10

Bra Queen’s Comments- The cups cut across your breasts so you look like you have spillage when it’s actually the correct cup size. Giving you a double boob! Looked really good, promising the material is nice but sadly it stopped there.

BRA REVIEW -Simone Perele

Avant
Cost- $89.95
Lift- 5/10
Separation- 6/10
Quality- 6/10
Shape- 4/10
Material- 7/10
Appearance- 5/10

Bra Queen’s Comments- I thought that Simone Perele was going to bring it home for me! But sadly NO, very disappointed, the material was nice but this bra squashes your boobs and I hate that. I am not trying to hide my G Cup boobs if I get a great shape it looks much better then trying to squash them under my arms!

BRA REVIEW -Fayre Form

Charlotte- Available in White, Toffee and Black
Cost- $49.95
Lift- 5/10
Separation- 6/10
Quality- 4/10
Shape- 2/10
Material- 4/10
Appearance- 2/10

Bra Queen’s Comments- I read an article last week that was in the Herald Sun and it said that “Fayre Form has always been at the fore front of Larger Cup Size Bras.” Now this is were I strongly disagree! If you call poor quality and flimsy material at the fore front, then OK. Yes, they are the only company that catered for the bustier women for a long time, however I find Fayre Form bras pointy, ugly and a yucky shape. I am not the only expert in this field that shares this opinion, the owner of a successful Lingerie Store who stocks Fayre Form said to me “I never fit anyone for these bras, they are a terrible shape. I never have any luck with them” I did wonder why on earth she still stocked the entire range! But I’m not footing that bill so who am I to say anything!

BRA REVIEW- Playtex Deluxe Support

The beautiful Kate Ceberano models this range.
It's the 1st time Playtex have really given the whole Pretty Big Bras a crack. Close but no cigar, but cheers to you for trying!
Your breasts don't look as good as Kate's, however even on Kate you can see that there is a little spillage in the cup. It did the same when I reviewed it, it's because the elastic is too tight.

Cost- $69.95
Lift- 8/10
Separation- 8/10
Quality- 6/10
Shape- 4/10
Material- 5/10
Appearance- 4/10

Bra Queen’s Comments- For the price I think you can do A LOT better! The bra makes your breasts look really pointy. Some people like that however I’m not a fan of pointy boobs.
If you’re not fussed about nice material or shape you may like this bra.
