Day 13- Love Your Life Challenge, Vision Board
Vision Board
Everyone has goals, everyone needs goals they may be big they may be small. It doesn’t matter they are yours!
Get some magazines together flick through them. Think about your goals or what is important to you. Cut out images or words that represent you and your goals. Different images mean different things to people as we all interrupt things differently so cut out whatever it is you desire!
For example-
•You want to go on a holiday, so cut out a picture of a beach,
•You want to be happy cut out a picture of someone laughing.
•You may want to lose weight, get a picture of someone exercising.
Get a piece of paper and make a collage. Glue all of you images down on the paper.
Then I want you to put it up on the back of your bedroom closet door where you can look at it everyday even if it’s just for a second.
Sounds crazy? Maybe! But man you feel good once you’ve done it and when you look at it makes you feel good! It gives you a purpose and your goals really do happen.
Do it and let me know how you go.
The image is my vision board this time I left space in the middle so I can add to it whenever I want too. You do whatever works for you!

I have one part made, just not the rest - must finish it!
It was on my To Do List for so long Imogen then I finally made myself do it. Once I start them I can't stop until they are completed! Do you know that once I did it several things on my vision board came about, true story!
I love vision boards. They keep everything so fresh in your mind. They remind me what I am working for when those days get to be a little long. I renew mine often to keep it up to date.
I've kept some type of vision board in the form of diaries since I was a little girl, and in them I pasted pictures of things I wanted, like kittens and puppies. They became more like creative journals as I was older and as a bookbinder, I made myself a book every year. They are all lined up and I still reference them, filled with all my goals for that year, lists, friends recipes, photos and 'things' I aim for as well as a record of my daily doings. It's a great feeling to look back a few years and see I've achieved so many of them. I thought it would be great to share a journal like that, to inspire people to be creative but at the same time achieve order in their lives and keep a record of achievements, so I 'made' a book and have just published on lulu.com. Have a look for ideas, or even buy a book! I've kept the price as low as possible and lulu are offering a 10% discount this month with the code FALLREAD at checkout.
Believe me, I'm not a sales type but it was coincidental that the BraQueen topic just happened to suit this book so well.
Here's the link and the lulu blurb:

Don't think the title is misleading, it is your book to fill with ideas for losing weight, making money and finding true love & happiness. Your goals are within grasp!
Thanks to Renee for her encouragement to post!
Funny...I remember making these in highschool and having them on my pinboard. Might give this a go and see how I feel. Felt good in highschool! Funny I'd still like to meet Michael J Fox ( for different reasons now!) he'll still be on my vision board 20yrs later.
Thanks will let you know!
What a great idea! I have some affirmations near my mirror that I use everyday, but seeing I'm a visual person, this would be great.
Go for it Chantal!
I have been meaning to do this for such a long time. I've heard that yes, they really do work, all I need is the time to do it.
Now that's probably one picture I really need, right smack bang in the middle, a BIG clock, no maybe that would mean I'd be running out of more time:)
But you are right, I really need to take more time for myself, which at the moment and for quite a long time has been zero.
But you have put the idea in my brain and I'll try and make more time for myself and getting my
vision board done.
Do it Jan! next time your shopping grab a couple of mags, have a flick thru and cut! It'll take 1 hour max!
