How are you going?
It's been 4 weeks since the Love Your Life Challenge, are you still making a cautious effort to BE?
I have had so many emails from you! So a BIG thank you for all of your feedback.
Many of you ask when is it going to start again?
I am actually talking to other businesses who loved the idea and they want to come on board and do another one. So watch this space
I am still looking at turning it into an ebook for you, so you can re-visit it whenever your need too.
Please give me your feedback on what you thought of the challenge, as I am tweaking it within the coming months and would love to know what you liked, what you didn't like, what was relevant to you etc. You can email me braqueen@gmail.com or you can leave a comment here.
Thank you in Advance

Bra Review- Bras 'n' Things

BNT is one of Australia's and New Zealand's leading lingerie stores, so how does their lingerie fair up with the rest?
Every Lingerie company has two seasonal lines Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter then usually an on going line, their bread and butter lines you might call them.
Bras 'n' Things originally outsourced all of their Lingerie however over the years they slowly started to fade out there suppliers, opting to go off shore and create their own labels-
* Short Stories- A to D Cups and sleepwear.
* Truly Me- Fuller Cup Range, fuller cup being mostly E Cup some go up to F Cup.
* Wink- For teenagers, it's just like Bonds.
* Satin Indulgence- Sleepwear and your Boudoir Lingerie
* Ultimate Body- T-Shirt bras and Shapewear
Now I am noticing they are beginning to reintroduce some other labels again. Especially in their Fuller Cups they are stocking Triumph, Playtex, Berlei & Loveable. They also stock Playboy and Mossimo.
Now you go into these stores and there is just so much stock!
So I am NOT going to Review every single bra. What I am going to do is make it really simple for you. I may be generalising however you know me I am always honest and I know my bras! SO
Fashion Lines- The bras that only come out for the season.
Quality- 1/10
Material- 1/10
Shape- 1/10
Appearance- 6/10
Over All- 1/10
Bra Queen's Comments- Even if some of these bras look nice personally I wouldn't recommend them as the quality, shape and support is lacking. The price point is OK however I think you can find better. I find them very ill fitted.
Ask yourself this- If they can sell them at $10 at the end of the season and still make a profit, how much time and effort went into the structure and shape of the bra?
T-Shirts Bras- If you have full breasts, when I say full I mean how they were before you had kids. Then you'll find one to suit, however again the quality is sadly not great. Best seller is Milano- it will work for you or it won't.
Larger Cups- The only one I would recommend is the Riviera bra it is well made and provides a good shape. However it is a 3/4 cup so some of you will feel like you're popping out of it. It has quite a big lace so it may show through some clothes, however for the price it is quite good, IF the shape is right for you. It only goes up to an F Cup.
All the others are either-
* A bad shape
* Poor quality
* No lift
* Really ugly
* Or all of the above.
Water Bras and Cream Bras- I like their Mermaid Water Bra material is nice, good shape, your breasts do appear bigger.
Their Ultimate Body Water bra is also quite good however it really does depend on your shape. Bra 'n' Things bras are really hit and miss more then other companies I find.

Self Doubt, Are YOU Qualified?
One of the most frequent questions I get asked about is "Self Doubt" and how to overcome it.
I think as women as Mothers we have all been there, whether we choose to admit it or not is a different story!
Especially as a new Mum your day to day life feels like it becomes so man deem and you feel so "housewife-y" as much as you know that it's not the case and you are doing it for a great reason, you still feel that way. The visitors have gone, your partners back at work and it's just you and little baby and you're up to your elbows in dirty nappies, breast milk, vomit and running on 2 hours sleep. Completely cut off from the outside world. Your life has come to a complete halt and for the first few weeks you think the whole world has as well.
However you soon realise that life is going on and people are moving forward except you! You feel meaningless because you aren't doing anything constructive. We have all been there and to be perfectly honest I don't miss it at all! I LOVE my girls but man those early days tough.... But if you're still there it does get easier I promise you that. You are a GREAT Mum and you are doing a GREAT job!
Maybe your self doubt comes from you not feeling "qualified" to do what you do?
I know a few friends of mine that have the notion of "If you don't have a certificate or diploma then you aren't qualified"
I am and always have been I gigantic believer in "Knowledge is Power" but I don't think that always comes in the shape of a piece of paper (maybe that's why I'm not married to my partner of 11 years :)
* Life experience gives you a much needed lesson, one you can not be taught.
* You can learn HEAPS from a book but put it into practice and that's when it all comes together, yes?
I know those of you thinking Doctors, Dentists blah blah. Obviously in order to do most professions you need training in some shape or form and education IS crucial for everyone and you have to be taught, that is not what I am taking about.
For example I know a female Paediatrician who after all of her children returned to work after just 2 weeks of giving birth for 1 day a week just so she didn't lose her confidence within her profession. By doing that 1 day a week it kept her fresh and up to date with everything so when the time come she could and did go back full time.
So no matter what qualification you do have if any, we at some stage or another will doubt ourselves. But one way to get over that and avoid it is to be proactive and hands on, experience gives you confidence. You may have your degree but tell me on the first day on the day you felt confident? No way! If you did cheers to you :)
After my first child I lost my confidence and it took awhile to restore it and I am a very confident person but having Maddison changed that. However after Milly I worked right up to when she was born and return to work within a week of being home (I work from home so that of course enabled me to do that. We all don't have that luxury)
If you are self doubting yourself try to write down a list of everything you do and have learned, guaranteed you will realise that all the courses you have done, training you have been apart of, the hands on experience you have had, the life experiences good and bad you have learned from have made you a great person, who know buckets loads and you are capable of anything you want!
I have been through alot and learned alot personally through out my years, my profession has taken me around the globe giving me the opportunity to do many courses, training by many industry leaders, I have a wide variety of experience in many fields, I have a strong managerial background running over nearly 15 years. I have oodles upon oodles of certificates in so many different areas. However what do I have a diploma in? Hairdressing!
I define me! Life has taught me, I create my success, training/diplomas/Certificates just gives me the right to execute it and pass on my knowledge and experience.
High School Drop Outs You May Know-
*Jimmy Dean
*Richard Branson (Virgin)
*Henry Ford (Ford Motor Company)
*Dave Thomas (Wendy's)
*Anne Beiler (Auntie Annie's Pretzels)
*Liz Claiborne
*Marcus Loews (Loews threatres)
I am not saying to drop out of High School! STAY THERE!
However success is what YOU make it. It is not given to you, YOU HAVE TO GO OUT THERE AND GET IT. GO!

Sociographic’s- What a Croc! Try a Piece of Humble Pie…
Sociographic- Is the branch of sociology that uses statistical data to describe social phenomena.
I’m sorry this is a term I think is completely and utterly ridiculous. Made up by someone who is completely up themselves and wanting to feel better about their sad, sad lives! And anyone who actually believes this ridiculous term is no doubt the same.
Harsh? Maybe,
I heard someone say once “The reason they behave like that is just because of the sociographic’s of your workplace”
Oh really! Ms I am qualified as a big fat nothing who has NEVER done a days work you actually liked, worked your complete arse off not for the money but because you LOVE what you do. Who expects everything to just fall into your lap and happy for everyone around you to make it happen FOR YOU! Then when they DO accomplish something, all you do is criticize or better say “Well now you have to so this.” Blow me!
What, if you work in a store you’re wasting your life? Or
You don’t know how to behave?
Does it make a difference if they own the store?
Does it make a difference that they love their life?
Does it make a difference that they are happy?
Who are YOU to judge? Anyone who has used this term in a sentence to categorize someone lacks self esteem.
• If you feel the need to use words no one speaks- Which by the way we know the meaning; we just don’t have the self esteem issues you do. You sound like a try hard!
• If you write an email to someone who you know really well but can’t even give the person the respect of being sincere; because there is no compassion behind your words. Don’t email.
• You think by doing this you are coming across as professional or intelligent. You’re not, sorry. All you are doing is coming across as cold, unapproachable, up yourself and yes a total try hard.
Are you telling me that people in high paying jobs don’t behave badly? Don’t be ridiculous!
How many men do you know in high paying job think “It’s Ok if I sleep with that woman because I’m on a crap load of money?”
Oh oops! Do wealthy people say crap load?
Everyone has the ability to behave badly and everyone has at one stage or another and that’s OK because we live and learn we grow up!
I know many successful people and what I LOVE about them is:
• Not that they are mega successful
• Leading experts in their fields
• On a crap load of money
• Passionate, beautiful and inspirational people
Don’t get me wrong I LOVE that they are all of those things but do you know the one thing they ALL have in common?
THEY ARE HUMBLE! The most humble people I have ever met, you would not even know how successful they are unless someone told you. They will talk to anyone because they know you learn from everyone!
A piece of humble pie anyone?

How to be Successful!
I love meeting inspirational women, who know what they want and go after it. I love the passion and determination behind their eyes. I love it even more when their passion and determination is paying off for them.
How to be Successful!
• Know what you want
• Be passionate about it
• Have a clear picture of what you want and write it down.
• DO NOT stray from your vision! It‘s easy to spread yourself too thin thinking by doing so you’ll cater for more people. You will not.
• Have your niche, master it, THEN think about expanding.
• Perfection is the poison of all possibility- Do things well however if you are waiting for perfect it will NEVER be so it will never happen. We evolve, things evolve. Do it well now, don’t wait.
• Follow your gut- Trust yourself don’t under estimate the power of your intuition.
• Love yourself and treat people the way you like to be treated.
• Don't think Why? - think Why not?
Have I missed anything?

Bra Review on Curvy Kate

Curvy Kate's Emily, Princess, Ella, Angel, Portia Curvy Kate's Soft Cup Bras
Cost- $94.95
Lift- 6/10
Separation- 8/10
Quality- 6/10
Shape- 4/10
Material- 4/10
Appearance-8/10
Over All- 5/10
Bra Queen's Comments- Firstly a BIG Congratulations to Curvy Kate winning our Best DD+ Bra award. They are really pretty bras. I was so so excited to review them, I could wait to get my hands on them!
Sadly I found the material a little scratchy, but that may soften with some fabric softer:)
The underwire on these bras stops short under your arm pits, I assume to cater for the women who don't like the feeling of it rubbing under their armpits? BUT it is there for a reason, it comes up higher for support and to distribute the weight of your breasts evenly. So in turn it causes the underwires to really dig into your chest, not just a little I'm talking serious digging in. It is really uncomfortable, I can see the underwires coming out of these bras very quickly.

BUT DON'T WRITE THEM OFF TOO QUICKLY!
They also have-
Showgirl by Curvy Kate's Tease Me and Thrill Me Curvy Kate's Semi Soft Cup Bras (They have a really soft, thin mold)
Cost- $99.95
Lift- 9/10
Separation- 9/10
Quality- 7/10
Shape- 8/10
Material- 7/10
Appearance-8/10
Over All- 8/10
Bra Queen's Comments- Showgirl by Curvy Kate, Thrill me and Tease me have a great shape, really comfortable and supportive. They look fantastic. I really like them and recommend them. They are a 3/4 cup or balcony cut bra therefore if you are super active during the day they may not be supportive enough and you may pop out of the top. However I could wear these all day with my 2 toddlers and still be supported and I'm pretty active. The underwires are exactly where they are suppose to be :)
#Semi Soft cup bras we are beginning to see much more of coming out of Europe and I am loving them they have the comfortable factor of a soft cup how they just mold to your natural shape and the benefits of a molded or preformed bra like providing shape.
# I love the fact that right now Curvy Kate is only available in Small Businesses who know their stuff like Debras. I hope for the small businesses they stay that way, however I have my doubts *wink* *wink*
If you are outside Australia then a highly recommend the awesome www.missfituk.com
