What Are the Best A to C Cup Bras?

For a long time my thought process has been that A to C Cups have an abundance of bras to choose from. Sadly I was wrong; yes they have literally 100’s of bras to choose from HOWEVER the quality and shapes are just as bad as their larger cup size sisters.

I recently just embarked on a review mission for smaller cups. We tried 35 bras and do you know how many I would recommend 3! That’s right 32 of them were absolutely hideous.
For some reason every lingerie company are designing the same bras as there competitors and they are ALL just producing poorly designed bras, the main problem is really bad shapes, the under wires are too close together that’s why smaller cups often have the problem of them cutting in because the bras are designed with the cups too close together.

Now you can have your correct bra size but if the shape is wrong then it’s going to be just as uncomfortable as an incorrect fitting bra.

We reviewed bras from AU $30 to AU $130 and don’t let price fool you! Designer does not necessarily mean better, you are still just paying for the label.

So what come up triumphs?

Bonds- the Bonds Super Scoop Bra is cotton and elastic and a great shape. The cups are in the correct position so it is comfortable & supportive therefore leaving you with a great cleavage and a great shape. The only thing I would question is the life span of this bra because it does have thick elastic around the band so I would imagine that it would stretch quite quickly. Make sure it fits snugly on the loosest hook so you can tighten it when it does stretch.
Bonds is available at MYER stores.

Mimi Holliday- Do the perfect balcony bra, it is French designed and you know the French they get a woman’s body and what we need!
Made with the most amazing materials and cutting edge fashion these bras will leave you feeling great. But you will still be very comfortable while you’re feeling great.

The Mimi Holliday collection is available at Kitty K, Alluring Lingerie,Cherry Noire and Little Flirt.

How Often Do I Wash My Bra?

This is a question I get asked ALL the time.

You can wear your bra twice before washing it.
It is not necessary to wash your bra after you have worn it once.
Aim to wash your bra 2 to 3 times a week.

How do I wash my bra?

I always recommend giving it a GENTLE hand wash, no vigorous rubbing!
If you insist on putting it in a machine then ALWAYS use a wash bag.
By looking after your bra your will maintain the shape so they remain comfortable, supportive and you will get great lift.
Don't hang it out on the clothes line, the sun will harden the material and fade the color. Just hang it inside over a chair.

How long should a bra last?
If you have a good quality bra that fits you well AND you look after it, you can expect it to last you 1 to 2 years.

Your body shape does and will change so you should always be aware of that. If you are going up and down in weight then your bra size will change as well.

Bra Review- Masquerade

Pandora
Cost- $114.95
Lift- 8/10
Separation- 8/10
Quality- 9/10
Shape- 8/10
Material- 9/10
Appearance- 7/10

Over All- 8/10

Bra Queen's Comments- I loved the quality of this bra! It is made really well. The material is lovely, the pattern not to my liking but a lot of women would love it. The shape was really good it's slimming however because it quite low cut it creates a bit of a V shape breast. When you have a top over it you can't see it, it's only when you looking with just the bra on.
If you have toddlers or you are up and down or running around during the day you will pop out of it. However if you work in an office it will be fine to wear everyday. I really liked it but it's not perfect there is something that isn't quite right. It's not overly comfortable.

Shanghai
Cost- $109.95
Lift- 7/10
Separation- 7/10
Quality- 9/10
Shape- 4/10
Material- 9/10
Appearance- 7/10

Over All 5/10

Bra Queen's Comments- Masquerade's Bras are made beautifully however because the shape of this bra is so bad I would not recommend at all. You will spill out it, it's not supportive, it's not comfortable and you couldn't even wear it for it's prettiness because the shape is so bad it makes your breasts just look wrong.

If you would like to check out Masquerade you can do so at Brava

Bra Queen’s Comments- I love Miss Mandalay's bra. The cut and the shape of her bra's is really good, Miss Mandalay make great quality bras, she really does take pride in her work. Very comfortable and very supportive you could easily wear her bra's all day and feel a bit sexy at the same time ;-) The price is unbelievably low considering it is of European design & quality.
I have been reviewing bras much more expensive and they are hideous!

Freya
Arabella
Cost- $99.95
Lift- 9/10
Separation- 9/10
Quality- 9/10
Shape- 8/10
Material- 8/10

Bra Queen's Comments- Freya I find are a bit hit or miss with their Bra's. Their soft cup bras tend to be good IF they are the same cut as Arabella or Eleanor. As a rule I would stick with their Balcony Bras and not their Plunge Bras.
Note- Eleanor on some bust shapes can be slightly ski-jumpy

For my favorite Smooth Cup Bra read this
